Industrial Wall Lights

Generally, the maintenance of industrial-style wall lights is straightforward. Regularly wipe the light fixtures with a clean, soft cloth to prevent dust build-up. For metal fixtures, occasionally check for any rust and clean or maintain them as needed.

Many wall lights are suitable for outdoor use, particularly those with waterproof and dustproof features, making them ideal for gardens, patios, and other open-air spaces. However, it’s important to check the product’s IP (Ingress Protection) rating. The IP rating indicates how well the light is protected against solid objects and water. The first digit refers to protection against solids (such as dust), with higher numbers indicating better protection. The second digit refers to water resistance, with higher numbers meaning the light can withstand more exposure to water. For example, an IP44 rating means the light is protected against dust particles larger than 1mm and can withstand splashes of water from all directions. An IP65 rating means the light is fully dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. For outdoor use, it’s recommended to choose lights with an IP rating of at least IP44 or higher.
